Time for a Revolution ... Counter!
One of the many cockpit details that have heretofore been AWOL is the tachometer, or rev counter, or as it is called in German, the Drehzahlmesser. These came in a variety of shapes and sizes, but the most common type was made by the Wilhelm Morell company in Leipzig. These were mechanical instruments with a distinctive obliquely angled input shaft that drove the centrifugal mechanisim. Our rendition will be included in the next release and is based on detailed measurements and dozens of photos of the real thing.
Until next time, thanks for looking!
